Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Wild Card Baseball ("the Game" or "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to play Wild Card Baseball. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Keep your credentials secure.

You may not create multiple accounts to gain competitive advantage, share accounts, or otherwise circumvent game rules through account manipulation.

3. Cards and Collections

Player cards, bonus cards, and other virtual items are digital goods with no real-world monetary value. You receive a limited license to use virtual items within the Service. We do not guarantee the permanent availability of any specific card or item.

We reserve the right to adjust card stats, rarity, availability, and other game balance elements at any time as part of ongoing game development. Such changes do not entitle you to refunds.

Virtual items may not be sold, traded, or transferred for real money outside of authorized in-game mechanisms.

4. In-App Purchases

Wild Card Baseball may offer in-app purchases including card packs, premium currency ("Gumsticks"), or other digital goods. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds for in-app purchases are provided at our discretion. Contact support@wildcardbaseball.com within 30 days of a purchase if you believe you were charged in error.

Parental controls: Parents are responsible for monitoring and controlling their children's access to in-app purchases. We are not liable for unauthorized purchases made by minors using a parent or guardian's account.

5. Leagues and Competition

Wild Card Baseball offers competitive leagues scored by real MLB statistics. We are not responsible for errors or delays in third-party stat providers. Lineup submission deadlines are final; late submissions will not be accepted.

Prize leagues, if offered, are subject to additional terms published at the time of each event.

6. Acceptable Use

Play fair. Cheating, exploiting, botting, and abusive conduct toward other players are prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

Wild Card Baseball, including all artwork, card designs, game mechanics, and content, is owned by BatBridge Interactive, LLC. Player statistics are facts and are not subject to copyright; player names and likenesses used in cards may be subject to applicable rights of publicity laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED UPTIME, THE ACCURACY OF THIRD-PARTY STATISTICS, OR THAT THE GAME WILL BE FREE OF BUGS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your card collection and game data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Texas.
