Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

Wild Card Baseball is a fantasy baseball card collecting game. We want competition to be fair, the community to be respectful, and the game economy to be honest. This policy defines the rules beyond the rulebook.

Fair Play

• Use only the official game client and authorized APIs
• Do not use bots, scripts, or automation to submit lineups, open packs, or perform any in-game action
• Do not exploit bugs or unintended mechanics — report them to support@wildcardbaseball.com
• Do not create multiple accounts to gain bonus packs, stack leagues, or circumvent restrictions
• Do not attempt to manipulate real MLB statistics or third-party data feeds that power scoring

Community Conduct

• No harassment — Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct toward other players is prohibited
• No offensive content — Usernames, league names, and communications must not contain slurs, hate speech, or explicitly offensive content
• No impersonation — Do not impersonate staff, other players, or real MLB players beyond normal fan activity

Game Economy

• No real-money trading — Do not sell, buy, or trade cards, accounts, or Gumsticks for real money outside of authorized in-game mechanisms
• No chargebacks — Filing fraudulent chargebacks for in-app purchases may result in immediate account termination
• No market manipulation — Coordinated activities designed to manipulate in-game economies or card availability are prohibited

Technical Restrictions

• No unauthorized access — Do not attempt to access game servers or data beyond what the client provides
• No reverse engineering — Do not decompile or reverse engineer the game software or APIs
• No data harvesting — Do not scrape card data, player data, or other game content in bulk

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

• Warning or temporary suspension
• Permanent account ban and forfeiture of card collection and virtual currency
• No refund of in-app purchases made prior to termination
• Reporting to law enforcement for serious violations
